Main Mission

The Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring the proper application of Agile methodology (Scrum) across teams; facilitating collaboration among project team members; guiding teams in the continuous improvement of their practices; removing impediments faced by the teams; guaranteeing smooth development processes; ensuring coordination with stakeholders; contributing to the delivery of high-quality products within deadlines; and promoting an Agile culture across the organization.

The Scrum Master is expected to facilitate and support a maximum of 3 product teams simultaneously.

Responsibilities

1. Agile Process Facilitation

• Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective).

• Ensure adherence to Agile principles, practices, and values.

• Guide and coach the team in adopting and improving Agile methods.

• Maintain transparency regarding project progress using visual management tools (burndown charts, velocity metrics, etc.).

2. Facilitation and Coordination

• Facilitate seamless communication between team members and stakeholders.

• Ensure optimal collaboration across technical, product, and business teams.

• Assist the Product Owner in requirement clarification and backlog refinement/prioritization.

• Foster a highly collaborative, self-organizing, and efficient work environment.

3. Impediment Management

• Proactively identify roadblocks and bottlenecks faced by the team.

• Implement appropriate actions to eliminate and resolve these impediments.

• Protect the team from external distractions, interruptions, and organizational scope creep.

• Escalate critical blockers to leadership when necessary.

4. Continuous Improvement

• Analyze team performance metrics and propose areas for optimization.

• Implement best practices to drive team productivity and software quality.

• Coach and support teams to help them increase their Agile maturity level.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, shared accountability, and operational excellence.

Required Skills

• Mastery of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Strong command of Agile project management and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).

• Proven ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, and collaborative sessions.

• Outstanding communication, active listening, and mediation skills.

• Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to navigate complex organizational situations.

• Solid understanding of technical environments (software development lifecycles, APIs, system architectures).

• Servant leadership mindset, empathy, and strong team-player spirit.

• Professional proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (Licence / BAC+3) in Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role.

• Professional Scrum Certification (e.g., PSM I/II, CSM) is highly recommended.

• Proven track record in complex digital or IT projects.

• Good understanding of DevOps practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments (coordinating technical teams, business units, and external partners).
